I didn't think Garcia was hurt. And he got up right after it was waived off. Seemed like he realized he wouldn't win anyway and there was no point continuing and getting knocked out for real. The fight was too soon for him, he wasn't ready. Just like Tank ducked Loma, Garcia should have waited out Davis for at least a couple of years.

First, Garcia was a hype job…a YouTube fighter at best. Second, all of the clauses made this fight uninteresting to me. Especially the rehydration garbage

He’s a thoroughbred with mutiple national championships. Just too many weight draining stipulations by boy tank

Man that shot dug in and his reaction was legit I think. U right he could have gotten up a second quicker. I’m not hating Garcia tho, I appreciate the attempt for his age. Davis’ team felt he needed to improve before loma and that’s fine but the more boxers testing limits vs great fighters is what we want, right? Better than marinating/losing out on so many good fights

I wonder what people who actually paid for this fight thought about the fight ? I mean it was not a fight that had to be watched live i felt i knew the outcome and somewhat of how it would work itself out. Was it worth the money not that we are all so poor we can not even pay attentiion. Just that was it really a fight that lived up to its potential, did it live up to its hype, of what was expected of the two fighters. What i expected happened i watched it on youtube, i can watch it for no charge next weekend. It did not impress me other then it is over. Now everyone can speculate as to the two opponents future. I will just wait till they get in the ring about three more times before i get too hyped about these two guys.
              Next ???????

Garcia needed a poker face in that moment. I don't think anyone - Davis included - realised how badly that shot had stung him until he wore it on his face. Had he played it off he could have rode it out, but as soon as he went down to a knee it was done.

He could have gotten back up. But I believe he felt Tank’s power throughout the fight and knew if he did get back up he was going to get Knocked Out cold.

but it wasnt like he was getting outclassed though... so why quit in that fashion? it wasnt like he was getting ****** up leading up to that body shot..
