Also, when you watch the video, it's obvious that HBO at least views Cotto as the underdog. The segment focuses on how Cotto can stop Manny. It portrays him as the silent giant who doesn't even need to discuss strategy.

This my immediate reaction.. As per the Vitali fight, it seems Merchant has added a good 3 seconds on all his pauses. With that said, I'd still like to see him calling fights.
