Excuses........he wasn't drained. Just has a lack of heart and determination. Reminds me of a more physically gifted victor "tree" Ortiz.......
he hadnt made 135 or 136 in 2 and a half years. add in the rehydrate clause? there's no way he wasnt drained. then when you looked at the lethargic way he fought, lack of punch resistance and inability to recover. seemed like a textbook draining a la ward-dawson. maybe davis wins against a 140 garcia or garcia from 2 years ago but this was pretty lame. not as bad as floyd-canelo but up there
At the end of the day, he chased the fight and agreed to all of Tank’s stipulations and handicaps when most others would have backed out, or have never chased the fight in the first place, knowing full well from the get-go that Tank would impose a lot of handicaps.
He took a gamble, and he came up short.
The smaller man may have won, but Ryan is definitely not a coward.
He put his heart in the line of fire, took the challenge and went down with his boots on his feet.
He doesn’t have to work another day in his life unless he wants it.
