yeah, but floyd cheated by not making weight and making jmm fight with every conceivable disadvantage.

If Cotto puts a beating on Pac, Cotto will be the fight that earns Floyd the most money.

I think you got a bit muddled there. I asked you where the honour was in Floyd fighting another small guy when he said this wasnt about money. Mentioning the fact that he beat another small guy isnt in the least bit relevant to what I asked.

          ok..sorry. my bad.

But how small is Pac? Roach has gone on record and said that Manny will be fighting Cotto at 149 lbs...so he will be that or bigger if he fought May.....

"The thing is by fight time he'll be 160, we'll be about 149 which is Manny's best fighting weight and if they think he (Cotto) is the stronger guy he has something coming." link

Plus, there is honor in beating the guy that many call P4P the best and who had the spotlight when Floyd was gone.

Pac is small enough. We have just seen what Floyd can do to much smaller fighters. Cotto is shopsoiled IMO,and I expect Pac to beat him. I wouldnt expect Pac to beat Mosley,Williams or Clottey. That doesnt mean **** to Pacmans p4p standing, its just that those guys are too big and a bridge too far.

If Floyd is about honour in this comeback, then it has to be a REAL challenge, not a forgone conclusion or a probable victory, but a REAL challenge.

Only 3 fighters represent that at the moment for Floyd. Mosley(who will raise his game for Floyd),Williams(who would have a lot of size advantages and throws a ton of punches) and as much as I hate to say it,Margarito. A further challenge could be a step up to middle, but I dont think he would have much joy up there.

If he wants to be remembered as an ATG,then it really depends on what happens now. He has the opportunity and the next few months will determine whether he has the intestinal fortitude.

Dont believe the hype. He is hardly gonna talk down his fighters chances is he? especially when he is dealing with someone as psychologicaly fragile as Cotto.

Floyd isn't ducking Mosley, Mosley is just back of the queue. Pacquiao/Cotto winner is top priority.

I think there's a good chance Mosley gets his shot in 2010 anyway, either before or after Floyd has dealt with the real business (Pacquiao) depending on time constraints.

He did what he has always done to whoever he has fought and that is BOX. Not one time did Floyd use his size advantage against JMM. He never tried to push him around the ring. He never used rough tactics. He picked his shots and look great on defense. If the fight with JMM took place at 140, he still would have outboxed the guy the way that he did. So let's not just say he did what he did to JMM all based on size. That was NOT the case. IT was case of one guy having superior BOXING skills than another guy.

Also, he has fought ONE TIME, since he came back. There are good fights down the road to be made. At this point, he is waiting for the outcome of the Manny-Cotto fight.

Let me ask you this, why is it a problem for A smaller fighter to come up to fight Mayweather, BUT if Mayweather wants to be great he has to step up to in weight to fight other guys? Like you mentioned Williams and you even mentioned him possibly going to MW....i don't get it.
