"Floyd is listed at 5 feet and 8 inches (5’8”) with a 72-inch reach. Why am I mentioning these stats? Try to check Floyd’s list of previous opponents and see if you can find any of them, apart from Oscar De La Hoya, who has both advantages in size and reach over him. If you are successful, then you can stop reading and I will certainly rest my case. If you can’t, then read on and know the facts."

So now, boxing has Height/reach classes? Not weight classes?

I guess Paul Williams is a heavyweight.

You have a point, to an extent. However, look at those numbers 5'8" and 72 inch reach. Those aren't big numbers for a welterweight. In fact, like Floyd always says he's a smaller welterweight.

So how does a smaller welterweight always managed to fight someone smaller than him?

Look at Cotto's resume and try and find one welterweight that he's fought that is smaller than him in those two categories. I'll tell you right now, it's never happened. Even Judah is taller and has greater reach than Cotto.

I think Mayweather is a great fighter, but it is interesting that a small welterweight can manage to fight 5 times at the weight and never be the smaller man. (Not counting DLH cause that was at 154).

I guess the author just emphasized that Floyd isn't really as good as most of you think. lol

Mayweather has to fight Cotto, Mosley, or Pac next, or he will continue to be questioned at welterweight which he should. Mayweather being ranked above Cotto is absolutely disgraceful, Cotto has done more at welterweight than Floyd could even pretend to.

i think the point is that floyd never fights anyone who has a chance to beat him.

PBF hasnt fought any welterweights. He picks names and asks them to move up to welterweight. So even though it is a good name on his resume, if you look at the bigger picture, (which PBF hopes you dont) you will find his wins are less impressive than first thought.

He retired without fighting Cotto, Margarito, SSM. To avoid one of them is excusable. But not even have made the effort to fight one of them. What is this guy up to?

He's just padding his record just like Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Maybe they ought to fight each other instead. lol
