Comments Thread For: Hector Luis Garcia's Trainer: I Favor Gervonta Davis; Won't Be Surprised If Ryan Garcia Wins

LAS VEGAS - The last trainer to guide a fighter named Garcia into the ring to challenge Gervonta Davis considers Ryan Garcia a very live underdog Saturday night. Bob Santos, who trains Hector Luis Garcia, favors Davis in their 12-round, 136-pound showdown at T-Mobile Arena.

Tank knocks Garcia down and wins but I see this going the distance

Very hard to call, just because they are both going to be tested like never before. I think Garcia's left hook is a potent weapon -- the facility and speed with which he wields it is amazing -- but Tank has so much power and excellent ring IQ that either could win. Looking forward to it.

If they're both extra cautious, then this fight could very well go the distance.

But at some point there will be fireworks for sure. Both have good trainers, with Goosen exceptionally experienced.

They best cornermen and trainers give specific advice, not silly stuff such as saying 'go and get him'. The jab, straight punches and hooks, feints, stance, combinations, defence, all has to be detailed.
