I think he should fight Clinton Woods for a tuneup! I good fighter but not too much of a threat

Woods retired. Rule out most of the top guys at SMW due to the tourney (shouldn't have left it so long then Nard).

I reckon he should go for a title at CW still. A champion in another division and would look on his CV as a whole.

In-fact it'd be good to have Nard and Hops at CW in a unification bout. They could agree to weighing 176 if they wanted, still above LHW so a CW bout right!?! Same deal as JMM & May just recently just to a bigger extent. Anything above 175 is a CW fight!!!

I was thinking maybe he would fight Chris Henry or Adrian Diaconu, in an case he could probably get any LHW in the world he wants because who would turn down a fight with Hopkins? Still what if by some chance Johnson is able to beat Dawson? Hopkins should easily be able to beat a come forward aggressive fight like him who he had already beaten years ago and not only that, if Johnson is to win against Dawson then he would be Hopkins best opponent anyway. It would be a great win for Hopkins then going into the fight with Jones.....any ideas on who you think he will fight?
the winner of johnson/dawson is a big money fight in itself. that's not a tune up fight.

he should fight someone liek cloud.

It would be nice to see Hopkins square off with Cloud for his tune-up fight.

whoever it is, its safe to say they'll be two divisions smaller, and the fight will be at a catchweight of 175 lbs...think juan manuel marquez is available?...quite sure golden boy has a super welter or two with a shaky chin laying around...

                175 isn't a catch weight...

Too bad Pascal is busy with Diaconu, because JP would be about as good a tune-up possible to prepare Bernard for RJJ. Surely if Golden Boy were really interested, they could pay Diaconu to step aside... but I get the feeling that Pascal would be too risky a fight for Bernard to really label a "tune-up."

Maybe Yusuf Mack, Shaun George, or someone of that ilk...

^ Yessir, up the ante a little bit.
