I've a feeling they definitely worked on defense for this fight.
I love how Tank was talking about how trash of a fighter Ryan is... Ryan following up with "if I'm trash why would you need spies in my camp?"
Good entertainment.Comment

Defense is hard to learn. Davis entire defense is punch then do a defenisive dip in whatever direction (forward/back/etc).
Defense is pretty hard to pick up after a career of not having it, dare say impossible. Tank is short which really puts a damper on defense due to range. Floyd made it look easy, but that's grandmaster techniques.Comment

Very true... and as Teetotaler69 stated earlier, Tank's defense isn't the greatest. He's not HORRIBLE, that's for damn sure but he's not exactly slick either.

I agree, Tank takes way too many shots from guys that shouldn't be landing shots like they do. Even Rolly was landing and he's crude. Ryan has some big obstacles in front of him, but he has the tools to make it look easy.
We saw how Tank dealt with Rolly's pressure =---> evade, set, counter, rinse, repeat. Ryan won't be coming forward like that. He's going to probe, feint, set traps, fade away counters, all the punches, nice jab. Tank is best at close range, Ryan has to the tools to keep him at bay. It's going to be a great fight.Comment
