Would you rule out a big fight in Macau though for Fury v Zhang if the money was right? Or even Wembley.
Top Rank have put on fights in Macau for Pacquiao, so obviously they have business relationships there.
Queensbury have just signed Zhang, so presumably they wanna make some money off him too. Who else they gonna put him in with, Aside from Joyce again? Not Dubois or any prospects. So they're left with Fury...
People talk about Zhang bringing some big Chinese viewership and market, I mean nothing really points to that being true because we haven't seen it because hes a B-side or he's been on under cards, but if it's possible then presumably it would take a fight with one of the only global stars in boxing in Fury to bring out that market.
I guess it'll be dependant on money. If we get back to realism instead of post fight hype, I don't think Fury would see anything in Zhang's skillset to worry him. Zhang is dangerous if fight him like a stiff idiot. A good boxer who can judge distance will take him to school.
Its not out of the question in my opinion, but i still think it'll be Andy Ruiz. He's a respectable opponent in terms of levels but stylistically it's a straight forward fight for Fury.Comment

I wouldn't rule out Zhang v fury in Macau or china. Fury said monstrous and that sounds monsterous. Ruiz don't sound too monsterous, but hes respectable, he'd be in the upper echelons of fury best opponents

Who knows with Fury, I wouldn't take his word for it that it'll actually be monstrous
It'll probably be Ngannou...
that would actually wouldn't surprise me. Usyk's team said they're revisiting the Fury fight for later in the year in Saudi. What is the biggest fights outside of AJ and Usyk that can make the most money, pose no threat to the Saudi dealings for December and can be called monsterous? Probably Ngannou

Ha ha ngannou, seems so random.whilst there are so many boxers he could fight. Zhang, flip, ruiz, Jared Anderson even are all better fights. Ngannou should be when Tyson retired

They keep going on about this supposed HW tournament that's going to happen in the Middle-East. With AJ Vs Wilder and Fury Vs Usyk and then the winner's fighting in the final.
Has AJ said that Wilder is his next opponent now? IF so maybe Fury will be fighting Usyk? He's never going to get more money for that fight...
That would make sense why AJ said his next fight is in December thenLast edited by Roberto Vasquez; 04-22-2023, 12:26 PM.Comment
