You and 88.735% of all the other boxing fans and "experts". I think we all looked at the match-up and thought Joyce COULD lose, but there were not a ton of us calling it. I had Joyce by late round TKO. Then, somewhere in the middle of the first round Zhang landed a 5 punch combo that Joyce just let happen, and by the end of the third all I could think was "Welp.... we all got this one wrong."

I bet on rounds 10-12. I honestly thought Joyce was invincible. I don't know how "hurt" he was by the punches but if your face doesn't hold up physically then it's game over refs and docs take it out of your hands.

yeah that 1st round combo was a teeth sucker for sure. He'll need to learn to get out the way of those at heavyweight but I had the conversation with my mate the other night, all that amateur pedigree and he still takes punches for fun with little regard for head/ lateral movement. The mind boggles at that.
