Vi Savud of Cambodia beat Pol Alivinario of the Philippines to claim the vacant WBC international super bantamweight title. The fight was held at the Olympic Stadium in Panom Pehn, Cambodia. Mr.Songchai Ratanasuban was the promoter and Mr.Tanakorn Jirapasuksakul was the president of the competition accordingly. The Cambodia boxing was the smaller man but somehow managed suck it up and stop the Filipino in the 6th round. He became the first Cambodian boxer to win an international boxing title. [details]
