And you still have people on here now saying "Well Bivol was a bad style matchup, but he'd walk through Beterbiev. Much better matchup. Stops Artur to the body in six rounds, easy work."
Good points. Thanks for the feedback. I am still looking to see if anyone picked Canelo to beat Usyk at heavyweight.

Well, considering that the talk was at a 201 catchweight, they probably figured he'd be pretty ****ing drained

I'm not going through all the threads and comments to find when it was said, but I know for a fact I remember reading it and it wasn't a lone opinion. Some were insane with the hype. There were were some that definitely believed he could do it.

                Maybe yes maybe no
My point is , Bivol would beat him even at 168

The only reason the Hearn has even mentioned the word regression, is because he see's the righting on the wall.
It is obvious that Canelo's punch out put has diminished to the point that he find's himself in increasingly more difficult situation's in his recent fight's.
Although he is only 32, he's has a heavy work load for many year's, consequently the wear, and tear has gotten progressively noticeable.
He should still be able to defeat John Ryder in a possibly a more difficult fight than fan's are expecting.
That said he won't be defeating Bivol in their anticipated rematch, which is supposed to be taking place in September of this year.
From that point on you can expect for him to suffer a few more defeat's along the way, if he insist's on continuing with his career in boxing.
