He didn't fight Prime Tyson.hahaha. He fought a post Douglas Tyson, in his second fight after Douglas.

Good luck on your first amateur fight, bro. On another note, I have to disagree with stewart, for a variety of reasons. Discipline in the ring makes for a better fighter, and of the two men stepping into the ring on Nov 14, Cotto has much more than Manny. Manny is fast (not mayweather fast, no way no how), but Cotto isn't the slowest guy he's ever fought. Manny has power (not Zab Judah power, no way, no how) but Cotto's got quite a bit of power himself (and a chin to boot).

I see Cotto frustrating Manny's speed with a solid jab, and lateral movement, I see Manny trying to pepper Cotto with speed shots that won't amount to much because of the awkward angles they will be coming from, and I see Cotto capitalizing on Manny's wild punches (where he leaves himself open for great body shots ala Marquez, Morales), and causing him to lock up to protect his midsection, which will let Cotto do a little of that old and successful head, body, head combination he used to lay on his earlier opponents. And I hear from Tampa, that Santiago has him working on that straight right he landed on both Mosely and Judah all night long. (Not the low blows, he's good at doing that with little or no supervision. LOL)....And there you have. Now go win one for Brooklyn, little bro. peace out.

When he fought Douglas I think he was still in his prime. I think he still fought a good fight, but after that? Went for the big KO and most of his form was gone.
