Comments Thread For: Haney: I'll Fight Tank At 135 Pounds, But No Rehydration Clause! Nobody At 140 Intrigues Me

HOLLYWOOD, Calif - Devin Haney's days at 135 pounds appear to be numbered. The career-long lightweight and current undisputed champion of the division has made it clear in recent months that making weight is increasingly getting more difficult.

No rehydration clause so he can blow up to 155 or higher on fight night. Nothing intrigues him at 140? Taylor, Teo, Prograis, Ramiriez? If he claims he'd like to stay at 135, then hopefully he'll put his money where his mouth is and accept a fight with Shakur.

Haney keeps making disappointing comments. If Loma can't handle him (I hope he can), we are in for this division to come to a complete stop because of the hugger.

Dude is scared to death to go to 140. He struggles to make weight but he can't move up cause then he won't have the size advantage and then the hype train stops. Guy is stuck killing himself to make weight then rehydrating 25lbs just to barely b able to beat smaller guys. He's about out of options tho. The sharks are circling.

Nah Sun, if Teo wins, go to 140 for that strap, then fight Ryan!

If Teofimo is still fighting at 140 by then, that's an intriguing match up.
