At WW, Zab might hit harder than Pac. Also that was Cotto's first test against speed. He's now fought Zab and Mosley, it won't suprise him anymore.
If Zab can hurt Cotto, then...

Pac's got the speed and power, but i think cotto has a good enough chin to take most of pacs power punches.
Im just worried cotto doesnt get cut early, everytime he gets cut it severely throws off his fight for whatever reasonComment

whos to say Cotto wont do that against Pacquiao? the last time I saw Pacquiao get hit in the balls, he didnt react well to it.
illegal or not, this kind of stuff happens in a fight, and could influence how it plays out.
and if Marquez can hurt Pacquiao, then....
Im leaning toward Cotto in this fight, although I havent thought too much on it.Comment

Yea. .Cotto will be fine as long as he keeps his jab im sure manny aint gettin thru.. he should also learn to block from the middle cause for some reason i think cotto likes the taste of uppercut.. he needs to learn how to adjust to it.. but like i said.. he'll be fine..Comment

Didn't Zab rock Mayweather when they fought? I saw his glove touch the canvas.I love Cotto and would not be disappointed if he beat Pac, but I have to say Zab had his world seriously rocked with straight lefts. Pacquiao is along the same lines in terms of speed but has a much higher punch output and punches more consistently. I think Cotto MUST work on defense against the left to be successful against Pac. That is, of course, assuming that we are correct that Pac has carried his punching power well to the WW division. To me, that is still unknown as his only tests have been old Oscar and Hatton for 2 rounds.Comment

first off zab has more power than pacquiao and he shook cotto (and only for a second) with an uppercut...something manny rarely throwsComment
