Hi guys, was just passing through and saw the thread - decided to make it 26 - 0 lmfao
Anyway, Yeah the Rahman - Meehan fight fell through, but not for the reasons listed here. The truth is that due to Tua's contract with Maori TV Dave Higgins from Duco (he's promoting this one - not Kushner) would not have been able to stage Tua vs Rahman III here in NZ, which was the plan and intent of bringing him down. No rematch, no point in bringing him down.
Interesting that they replace this fight with Hopoate - Wilson, which is basically a circus fight designed to draw a few punters from Aussie into buying the fight. Also of note is that they were trying toget Hopoate to fight Ahunanya, a fight Ahunanya would have won easily, setting up the rematch with Cameron as the main undercard fight on the proposed Tua - Rahman rematch. Ah what could have been....
Anyway Boa from Rogue Mag has acted as match maker on this card, and has put together some great matchups. Should be a cracker.

the fight gonna be PPV here in NZ, bad yeh lol. its gonna cost NZ$40 which is pretty expensive considering my ticket to the fight cost $100 and last week i watched mayweather for $25 lol.
