Best Ref?

Forgive me if this is a duplicate but...

In my mind, Mercante Jr. is the best referee in the world. I used to think that title belonged to Cortez, but I've been watching many of Mercante's fights and I don't see a single misstep. Cortez seems to be incapable of letting guys fight on the inside these days. This is excluding, of course, Ricky Hatton who has some major holding skills.

Refs that need to be done away with- Vik Drakulich, and Jay Nady.

Honorable mention to Weeks, Bayless, Halpern.

Hell yea, but by the little I saw I'm going to say that referee they put on Marquez-Diaz.

Also the ref for Floyd-Marquez and the ref for the Cotto bouts on New York are excellent also.

As for the Floyd-Marquez fight, I already mentioned Weeks. Mercante did a great job with Cotto-Clottey. I think that big referees don't need to be working small guys, because they are too slow and small refs don't need to be working HW's because of the obvious.

I haven't tuned to a Smoger in awhile, I've forgotten his reffin' style. But, I do like Bayless.
