Ummm...Can someone explain why shane mosley hasnt fought in 10 damn months??

He should have fought someone, he's 38 and not getting younger. He needs to be as active as can be. He spent most of it calling out Pacquiao and now Pac is fighiting Cotto. Total waste of time by Mosley. He should fight ASAP.

No big time fighter for him to fight. He only got a couple of fights left in him and is looking for that big payday that also adds to his legacy (Mayweather, Pacman, Cotto rematch) fights. But all of those already had fights planned. It's not that he didn't try to call'em out

After his destruction of Margarito my guess is that his own self worth went way too high and instead of realizing that maybe a fight for say 3.5-4 million for a 2nd tier guy like Berto or Clottey and then being in position to wait out either Pacquiao Cotto or Mayweather is better than being out for 10 months with no signs of fighting until at least December.

the funny thing in all this is while I know it won't happen I would have laughed had Margarito landed a fight before Shane did.

But why is it okay for Mayweather to retire for two years in his prime after beating Ricky Hatton and not okay for Mosley to sit out for a little while after his victory over Margarito? At least Mosley was looking for a fight. He didn't know for sure if Pacquiao or Floyd wouldn't fight him.

Floyd retired meaning he was done chasing fights and having fights chase him

Shane isn't and they manner at which he went after Manny and Floyd is out of character to say the least and kind of reeked of desperation. Add to that he was trying to capitalize on arguably his biggest win since DLH II and I think it was a wasted year personally

Because he's old. He doesn't have any shelf life. Mayweather was still very young when he retired.
