This will not be Canelo hitting Smith into submission , where he couldn't move his arms for days after .This is a fully fledged light heavyweight power house ...any body else except Eddie Hearn would be ashamed of themselves !Comment

If this fight has to be, then it has to be ... Artur can't wait for Bivol to get out of his hole... Smtih is a decent opposition and the WBC mando, so let's get another "this could be the one to stop Beterbiev in his tracks" happen... Still better than another Yarde type guy... Outcome is inevitable though...Comment

Beterviev is getting old, he should really go after Bivol quick and ignore Arum. Callum was out boxed and maneuvered by Canelo who took his arms with accurate punching (he tried the same vs Bivol, to which after Bivol said as to why it didn't work .. I watched the Callum Smith fight ;-) but Beterviev is more a power puncher.
I'm not sure Smith is a good style for Beterviev and he has shown signs of aging.
I'd rather see Bivol vs Beterviev (Arum really doesn't like the idea of this, no money as Bivol is quote "a boring fighter") but this is a nice to have second pick.

Anyway back on topic:
Callum Smith reverts back to type ALWAYS.
Watch his fights against Ryder and Bauderlique and you'll see the same MO: getting into a slug fest, getting backed up, swinging wildly and becoming left hook reliant.
If he tries to slug against Beterbiev he'll get opened up and hurt really badly. Watch the beginning of Round 2 of the Joe Smith fight where the slugged it out and see how ****** it is for anything to stand and trade with such a powerful fighter.
Smith has some glaring weaknesses - all exposed against Ryder, Canelo and Bauderlique and under TWO different trainers.
The one thing he has going for him is the powerful left hook (easily taken away) and he doesn't cut weight anymore to make 168lbs so he's a little stronger than before.

Thanks for mentioning me. But there's a reason you do. I've exposed all your bullshlt without you doing anything to counter argue. It's because no counter argument exists for you. You just run away instead or deflect.
How can it be bullshlt when Callum WILL in fact be out for a year before taking the fight? It's the reason you mentioned me in the first place because you can see it's actually true. You know, by the FACT he'll be out a year when taking the fight.
I also have to laugh at Eddie claiming he's putting Callum in the best possible position. No, Eddie, you're not. Going in against an active champion while you're badly inactive isn't the best position. It's the worst. Just like you've been doing to ALL your British fighters in your stable.
P.S A Euro fighter gave Beterbiev his toughest fight to date. Americans were wiped out with ease without so much as a challenge presented to him. There's another fact. Just like the fact that Euro's beat Americans all the time and you hate it. You only get bogus victories against sabotaged opponents. On a level playing field, you can't win. It's why you've been forced down this path in the first place.
Who cares if they are inactive, Spence was out of the ring for a year and a half after his near death accident and still fought and beat Danny Garcia. Spence also was out for over a year with a detached retina and fought and beat Ugas for his championship belt. I don't runaway, I just choose not to counter your dissertations of nonsense and excuses for every loss of British fighters at the hands of Americans and Mexicans. You should just stop, sit back, and watch the Euro-boxers get the stuffing beat out of them repeatedly. Its much more amusing.Comment
