Other than You and I, no one is calling for Prograis to fight Matias! They want to see him fight the Top Rank guys at 140, who have much more visibility! The Top Rank guys aren't calling out Matias either! They don't even mention him! Matias might have to consider fighting Boots Ennis at 147! The guys at 140 don't want to go anywhere near him!

A lot of boxing fan's want to see Matias vs Prograis, possibly the two best fighter's in the whole 140 pound division. Now that Matias has championship belt, fighter's who weren't willing to face him before will find themselves forced to fight him for the belt. Either that or sit, and wait for an opportunity against one of the other champion's. They can also move up or down in weight just to avoid facing Matias, I don't think so. With 20 fight's under his belt, a couple of fight's televised by ShowTime, the boxing public know's or have heard about him. Forget about 147, Matias has stated that he's going to defend the 140 pound title a couple of time's before moving up to 147. His first title defense will be very significant as to what his career trajectory is going to be for the future.

Hasnt Regis had promotional disputes/issues with every entity that has promoted him? Maybe I misremembering but I could've sworn he sat on that shelf for a minute after his win where he had the whole LSU football team in attendance?? Seemed his brand was destined to take off there and then but it never did. Seems like his career has always been "stop n go".....

This is not a debate, we aren't the only knowledgeable boxing fan's who know that Matias vs Prograis is the best fight that can be made in the 140 pound division.
