Anyone heard of or seen this TCL boxing?

New team combat league.. Teams & a season.

Looks like they just had their first event last week, and have another this week.

Few recognizable names for me at least on the event Thursday, Rahman Jr
    Ryan Garcia’s brother Sean
Adrian Taylor (beat Apochi after the Glanton war)
    Cobia Breedy
    Patrick Harris

Might check out the YouTube stream Thursday .

Team Combat League.trx_addons_inline_804803926{color:#FFFFFF !important} TCL is an organization of firsts. We are the world’s only boxing league with a franchise team format. We are the only major sports league to feature active members of both genders on the same team. Our inaugural season will feature eight teams across the continental United States fighting a combined 48 matches over 12 weeks in numerous venues. The top four teams will then square off in a one-night semi-final doubleheader to see which two will represent their city in the TCL Mega Brawl. 6-2 Charles Garner embarrassing 20-0 Patrick Harris.

Not a fan of the 1 round match ups , but it’s leading to some pretty good action.

Pretty entertaining event. Apparently next week is a “bye week” and they’ll back the week after.

I thought it was that tag team garbage but it's not. It's actually an interesting spin on the sport.

Only issue with this is, it gives you no opportunity to actually give a damn about any of these fighters. Just sets of urgent slugging, no story, no build.

If they did like The Contender up front, show them training, introduce them, tell their story and THEN put them in there, it might be something good.

                    Right now?

It's like watching a Little League tournament just because you crave baseball.
