Don't think so, Haney is fine vs small dudes like old Loma, jojo or B fighters like old Linares or Kambo. But Shakur is not a B fighter, not an old fighter, not a short armed dude.

So potshotting behind a long jab + clinching his way to a UD ala Wlad Klitschko won't work at all vs Shakur.

Sir Haney better start sitting down on his punches and work on his D instead of relaying on clinches if he wants to derail Shakur's game.

Hell I don't know if Haney Beats Martin or that mexican punching machin who stopped jojo.

In some way, Haney will have to fight a prudent boring fight vs Loma because I have a feeling that if he trades too much with Loma, the old sneaky southpaw might clip him.

Prediction if he fights Stevenson: Haney will stick with the same safety-first, jab-and-hug approach that he always uses.

I like his confidence. The fight I want is him vs Tank. I think Stevenson can rule LW for as long as he wants to stay at that weight.

The difference is that Haney doesn't have or doesn't use an assortment of punches like Stevenson does and that variety would offset everything Haney tries to do.

By the eye test Kur looks better, IMO, he looks slicker, better D, better punch variety, better footwork, I think he hits at least as hard as Haney.
