My boxing friend, I met “US” not the United States. I wasn’t calling out we American boxing fans. I just don’t get how a fight between Lopez-Taylor on regular ESPN isn’t a great thing.

I agree. I like the match up and will tune in. I'm happy it's not on PPV as I don't feel it's worthy of a PPV ticket unless they were to get a major co-main bout to add to it.

I love the Teofimo Lopez vs Josh Taylor fight and love thar it is on ESPN!!! This is great for Boxing.

No it isnt. Arum had invested more in them so Teo and Taylor have bigger profiles than Catterall or Martin.

Arum robbed Martin and Catterall to make this fight because its more marketable to casual fans.

What would have been best for boxing is to have Catterall and Martin given the clear UD they both earned and then fight for the unified title.

Then Have Taylor and Teo fight to determine who gets the winner. The loser would be at a crossroads so you expect a hell of a fight.

TR had no choice but to put it on ESPN given every rational fan thinks they both lost the last fights. Hard to sell a ppv in that context.
