CARSON, Calif. - Brian Mendoza broke out in a major way Saturday night by scoring the 2023 frontrunner for knockout of the year and upset of the year. Down big on all three scorecards, Mendoza stunningly stopped Sebastian Fundora with a three-punch combination in the seventh round to win the WBC interim super welterweight title.

That was hardly a lucky punch. He set It up with a feint and drew the wild missing uppercut to land his hook. Wicked shot

Credit to Mendoza for this win. He''s confident and believes he's capable at competing at a higher level. He beat Fundora who we know has terrible defense and only had an interim belt, which isn't an actual title, but you could be damn sure he doesn't beat Tszyu or Charlo.

This guy F--ked up one of my expensive parlays...yet strangely I'm not mad.

Each and every upset that happens in boxing will serve as a warning to these piece of S--t promoters to make the big fights on time when they're supposed to be made.

Love to see all their plans and schemes go up In flames.

              I beg to differ.

He would stand toe to toe and get Tszyu out of there somewhere around the 8 or 9th. And Charlo and him would have a violent back and forth 12 round war. Mendoza loses a valiant 7-5, 8-4 decision there. Definitely nothing to sneeze at.

Why would someone like me, who knows so much about the sport, want to talk to someone like you?
