Charlo's last fight was june 2021 against Juan Macias Montiel. Before that, in 2020 it was against Derevyanchenko, then almost 2 years b4 that it was Dennis Hogan, Brandon Adams, Matt Korobov, Hugo Centeno jr, Jorge Sebastian Heiland, Julian Williams, Austin Trout, Wilky Campfort, Cornelius Bundrage and michael Finney. This is all his bouts going back to 2015. That's a very thin resume. Derevyanchenko was worn out, Bundrage was well over 40, some say Korobov beat Charlo, he also lost to Juan Manuel Macias... who TF is Hogan, Wilky Campfort, Heiland, and Finney?!? Charlo is a very inactive champion, and doesn't take on top challengers. He's undefeated against very few credible opponents

I like Jermall , he's an excellent fighter and has always been cool with me but it's bull**** to keep a belt out of circulation for going on two years. There should at least be an Interim Champion, or they could strip Jermall and give him first crack at the belt when he's ready to come back.

Lets be real, the guy is a stone cold alcoholic and appears to still be so judging by recent videos of him on YT. If you get slurred sloppy drunk and still do interviews or post video's to social media you've got to be dumb as hell or in denial of the fact that you've got a problem. With all that being said, his demons shouldn't hold up others dreams. Unass those belts.
