Comments Thread For: Devin Haney: "Crawford Older Than Loma, Is He Old? No, Don't Say That Loma Old"

In addition to bringing his boxing trunks and gloves to the ring with him, Devin Haney is now under the impression that Vasiliy Lomachenko will need a walking cane and dentures before they officially face off.

Their great hype turned out to be not so good. His best win was a bantamweight Rigo.

Obviously Haney wants to blur the lines between the definition of "removed from prime performance" and age in years. Doesn't matter, he will still have Loma to deal with-even this version is still credible, just a slightly different version.

Thanks for confirming you’re a complete casual.

Lomachenko was 396-1 as an amateur including 2 OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALS then proceeded to become a 3 division world champion…

Crawford took up boxing at the age of seven. He fought 70 official amateur bouts, losing 12 times.
Lomachenko is one of the most successful amateur boxers of all time, possessing a record of 396 wins and 1 loss, with that loss avenged twice.

This little punk is always crying about something man. How about after this fight with Loma you fight Shakur or Tank? Nobody will say they’re old.

Did Crawford struggle with a C Level fighter like Jamaine Ortiz? Did Crawford LOOK old against Avanesyan?

People are saying Loma LOOKED old. The same way Roy Jones LOOKED old at 35. Bernard Hopkins on the other hand didn’t look old until he was in his 40’s. It’s a case by case basis when it comes to fighters ageing/declining. It’s based on style, mileage and multiple other factors.
