Comments Thread For: Alexis Rocha Moves Forward With Career; Will Face Anthony Young Atop May 27 DAZN Show

At least one welterweight is convinced of an undisputed championship on the horizon. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that Alexis Rocha will no longer wait out the process for his mandatory shot at the WBO welterweight title. Instead, the top-rated contender will revisit plans to face Anthony 'Juice' Young, which will headline a May 27 DAZN show from Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.

Good fight for a prospect considering Young is 24-2 with a win over Sadam Ali (27-2).

Being that said, Rocha ain't no prospect and this is quite a big step down.

Should have went with more viable options like Shakhram Giyasov or David Avanesyan.

This pretty much confirms that Crawford Spence is happening right?

Spence vs Crawford is happening. If Spence was fighting Thurman they would have announced it when showtime released their spring schedule.

Crawford has no excuses left. He either accepts slave wages vs. Spence or he has to admit that Bob is his father.

Hard choice for a proud man like Bud Crawford.

Alexis Rocha Moves Forward With Career; Will Face Anthony Young and he knows that he is not ready to face Terence 'Bud' Crawford.
Smart move at this point in his career.

But, Errol 'the tooth' Spence and Jermell Charlo has used all the excuses that they could find to not fight Terence 'Bud' Crawford.
This has always been a 'smart' move on their parts.

But, like Tim Tszyu said, "Spence, he's a punk, and Charlo has morphed into a twitter tough guy".

So, it is Bud that brought out the "punk" in both of them, and a punk is a punk if known by any other name.
