Huge credit for Tszyu for staying active and not rely on one person to define his career. Let Charlo take all the time in the world. Let him take a tuneup first if he wants. Just stay active.

Now this is a case where Tszyu next fight should be for an "interim" title, as opposed to the bull**** at super-middke and heavy where the sanctioning bodies are just creating interim titles for $$$.

Tszyu vs Castano would be a damn good fight.

I been calling that fight right after his last victory. It would be a barnburner, Castano has skills and will make Tim fight even harder.

I like that Tszyu opts to stay active, he will get sharper. The more they postpone the fighter the better for him if he keeps active. Charlo will have to deal with a sharper more experienced Tim and the odds are no so far off anymore.

Hmm... I know people say the 154 division is weak. But Charlo has taken every challenge and hasn't exactly had it easy.

It is frustrating to not see him in the ring for a while, but I do feel he deserves to get this time off without being stripped. It's not like him to be super inactive. Him and Jermall are completely different when it comes to activity. I do really dislike the division being held up. So I understand why some people would like to see him stripped.

Whether you are a fan of his personality/attitude or not, he's an exciting fighter. It's good for the entire sport of boxing to have someone like Jermell as a champion.

It would but I know Castano has been struggling to make 154lb for years and I believe he mentioned a possible move to 160.

Tim anticipates the fight to take place August/September but i seriously doubt Mell jumps straight into that fight right off the bat. That means Mell would have to take a tune-up here soon but doesn't look so. Mell takes his "give me" in August/September pushing the Tim fight even further into the year but more than likely doesn't happen until early next year smh....
