Ramirez looked great in there. His timing, reflexes and movement are superb. He's going to be hard to beat at featherweight. I'd like to see him fight Figueroa, Lara or Lopez next. He could fight Wood, Warrington or Vargas but I think he beats them pretty easily. I'm looking forward to this young man's career going forward.
I thought I'd also mention Dogboe. He fought admirably but he just doesn't have the skills to deal with someone like Ramirez. His tirade after the fight was sad and pretty embarrassing. The guy was whining about the knockdown when it didn't even matter. Once Ramirez figured him out in the 4th or 5th round, the fight was over. Dogboe does not make adjustments. No way he beats Ramirez in a rematch and realistically, I don't think Ramirez should give him one. There's no point whatsoever. The fight wasn't close.
