  • The Salvador Sanchez fight in the Klitshcko Undercad!

    An article about him

    http://www.notifight.com/artman2/pub...a_en_EE_UU.php

The kid has a improved so much! he only had 8 amateur fights, and his first 2 fights were losses.

He's now living in the USA and is trained by Jimmy Montoya, and is managed by Grant Elvis Phillips a great fan of his uncle.

He's really trying to be a clone of his Legendary Uncle, i saw his fight yesterday because TV Azteca showed 3 undercard fights, They show him fight after the John Molina fight, and the Kid put a great perfomance, he must watch Tapes of his uncle everyday, he also uses the same outfit as his uncle.

I knew about him, and looking at his record i never took him seriously.

But I was so impressed yesterday with him, i know he fought a journeyman, but i was impressed with his boxing, his combinations, etc.

And he has fought pretty tough competition in his early years in Mexico.

From some reports they said that he's 24.

Maybe he has a future in Boxing after all.

People that try to emulate their legendary fathers usually do not make it.

I believe he's actually his nephew(or at least claims so).

Anywya yeah OP I saw his fight too and I was impressed.Fast hands,he throws lots of punches, doesn't have much pop on them but he definetely places them well.

I'd like to see him more.

I know that, and i had dismiss him as a prospect after his loss with "Chucky" Lazcano (a very tough fighter but not a future world champ).

But then he went to train to States and they somehow change him, i watched him yesterday, and he was a totally different fiighter, i was shocked!

About as pathetic as putting George Foreman IV in the spotlight, and people like Tyson Fury who deserves non of it, only being a Z-list sportstar for having a cool name or carrying someone elses.

Good to know that i'm not the only one on Boxing Scene who saw his fight.

At first i wanted him to lose the fight because i didn't like that he's trying to be an Clone of his uncle,

But if he keeps fighting like this, being a clone look wise, will give him lots of publicity.

He's definetely marketing this as much as possible.I was looking at him last night and I thougt it was Sal Sanchez himself in there, from there hair to the physical build nad to the old school trunks he had he looked every bit of Savador Sanchez.
He even looked good fighting but lets not forget Mendoza has been losing a lot lately.

I will try to keep on eye on this Sanchez though to se what else he does.

In TV Azteca they said that he was using the shorts of his uncle, haha.

And i know it was Mendoza his opponent, but i was impressed with his skills.
