But Garcia gave him proper instructions and Joshua didn't listen. It's constructive criticism but I can understand if a fighter took offense to that.

Thing about Garcia was he's already counting the chickens before they hatch saying things like he could be his first win as a coach in the HW division as if he's the one fighting.

“The remarks were greeted with some surprise from the boxing world, as it is rare for trainers to openly criticize their own fighters, no matter how cordial or constructive”…Sean Nam is a fruity emotional clown. Trainer criticizing their own fighters is both rare. Freddie roach has criticized Chavez Jr. Nacho Beristain has criticized rey vargas. Vergil hunter has criticized Amir Kahn etc…get with the system, this ain’t nothing new

You had one fight with him that you lost. Against Usyk. You would lose that with anybody. You should have give him some time but you didn't. Hopefully you stay with your current trainer

Poor Derrick James he will probably just be a spit bucket holder tonight, little does he know Angel Fernandez will be taking centre stage as big boss man in the corner.

Last time I checked Garcia critics toward aj perfomance were not disrespectful in any way or form ,It Sounded more like constructive criticism, this just proves how soft weak minded Aj truly is. He better take care of franklin real quick cause hes gonna get real heat if he doesn't.

More and more, Robert Garcia upstages his boxers — he forgets they’re the ones who stir the drink, not him. Garcia appears to be more of a self-promoter than a reliable, team member.
