Comments Thread For: Eubank Promoter Responds to Eubank-Benn Rumors: What's on the Table Right Now Is Liam Smith

Kalle Sauerland says his ace client Chris Eubank Jr. is solely focused on the tangible deal at hand, which is a rematch with Liam Smith--not a fight with Conor Benn.

Eubanks has no inside game, average jab and poor defence. There is just no way he beat Smith.

Liam Smith is just a difficult opponent for Eubank Jr. Liam took some shots, wasn't affected, and then ko'd Chris.

I think he just has his number. It's not the same scenario where, for example, a more talented and skilled Terry Norris came back, beat Simon Brown in the rematch.

That was, after being ko'd in the first fight, but Norris had that underrated boxing ability, and obviously was on a higher level than Eubank Jr of today.

Eubank Junior best asset's is his inside - mid range game, Jab and movement. Everything else needs working on. I would say Eubank Junior's mid-range game is superior to his inside game, but he definitely has a inside game.

Smith is a solid fighter, but the way you are speaking? It is as if he was some sort of multi-dimensional fighter.

Eubank Junior has the ability to beat Smith 'They both have the ability to beat each other'.

In most of Smith's best wins, his opponents have always been competitive 'Fights are pretty much always a struggle for Smith'.

Even Eubank Junior in one of his worst performances vs Smith was at times competitive.

I make Liam Smith the favorite for the rematch, but how he won in the first fight? Those type of abrupt wins, sometimes don't indicate a fighters true form over the full distance of a fight 'The rematch could be a entirely different fight in terms of action, as it was a uncharacteristic style of loss for Eubank Junior'.

Smith vs Eubank is a domestic level fight, we can agree on this much. For the rest, if Eubank's average jab and poor inside game are his best assets, then why are you arguing with me?
