    Worst world champ above 126lbs

Has to be the lad that was offer 20 grand to fight JT then won the vacant wba trinket and is now getting fed to Rolly. Is there anyone holding a belt above featherweight worse?

By above you mean any fighters above featherweight or near the weight class? (130, 135 and 140)

Hmm, to be honest I don't know the state of cruiserweight.

But if I have to say which Champion I respect the least it be Jermall who hasn't fought for about two years and struggled immensely with Montiel.

Derevyanchenko was a good win considering he had GGG hurting to the body, but by the time Charlo fought him he was already shot and had a pretty average resume to begin with.

So Derv fought ggg in Oct 2019 but when he fought Charlo (Sept 2020), he’s shot? Less than a year later with no fights in between?

Shot might not be the appropriate term, more like he was a faded fighter in the decline. His athleticism and punching power wasn't the same despite only a year passing by. Derv was already at 35 years old when he faced GGG and went to war with Jacobs prior to that.

I will say this though, he was a complete fighter but had a pretty leaky defense. Could had easily won against GGG if the ref didn't stop him from capitalizing on the body shot and did pretty well considering how battered both were.

I thought he was undersized as well. I think he should have tried 154. He was fun to watch though.

Until Badou Jack beat him, I would have said Makadoodoo.

Agreed, Derevyanchenko could had faired really well, the light middleweight division was stacked during the early 2010s.

                  I mean there was:
                  -Paul Williams
                  -Sergio Martinez
                  -Antonio Margarito
                  -Miguel Cotto
                  -Canelo Alvarez
                  -Kermit Cintron

Though to be fair he debuted at 29 years old in July 23, 2014.
