It has definitely dumbed down since I've been here.

Between Paq fans, Calzaghe fans, Hatton fans, Mayweather fans...lol It definitely has changed, I wouldn't be surprised if these 4 guys end up changing Boxing forever.

I wouldn't be surprised if boxing has already become about cherry picking. I mean it makes Money, the promoters won't deny the cash it brings in etc etc..

Fighters are scared to step up, fans are defending the lamest aspect's about the sport, PPV sales etc etc lmao.....boxing isn't dead, but it's definitely nothing serious to pay attention to. Some fights offer intrigue, but for the most part...it's all about the milk.

It would behoove fighters to cherry pick once in a while in the future, I think that's the X-Factor in boxing careers. Milk off the biggest, old name.

Cherry Picking has proven to be effective and entertaining to the sport's shot callers.

The fighters that break the code, are the ones that will ruffle the sport's feathers...

All you can do is try and make threads devoid of hate/man love in an attempt to engage in a legit boxing discussion.....thats all the threads exist because they are posted so make your own about what you want to talk about.

168 has been good as of late but the rest of the sport is ducking each other.

It doesnt help that a lot of the posters nowadays only boxing knowledge comes from Fight Night. Most of the rest think that if a fight isnt Gatti-Ward it ******, somebody was exposed, they ran, they're ******* etc. Honestly less than half of the people on here understand anything about actual boxing and are more interested in watching street fights.

              lol I can't even front

I'm straight Pro Mexican when it comes to boxing, just cause that's what interests me.

But this super middleweight tournament has definitely given boxing that needed shot of interest. I know it's against the rules, lol But I'm goin hard-body for Oakland all the way on this one. I wan't Ward to take this. He's like a giant version of a prime Marquez

I think Ward and Cotto are the only fighters I've grown to like outside of muh'peoplez

I love this sport been watching the fights since i was 7 years old,the superfights while interesting at times ,i do not care much for to many politics and bs ,i love watching no names because every once in awhile you spot something special or guys on there way up they just fight harder take more risks.

I won't name the person but yes I do think this forum is a bit of a joke now. At least this part, the training section is okay because I think people there genuinely appreciate the sport.
