Mayweather got caught with an illegal needle in his arm the night of the fight and they issued him a "retroactive exemption" LMFAO

that whole drug testing thing was a lie. USADA is corrupt af

I waited until the time was right, when things were on our terms and we were the A side and we could do things our way, we turned that into a $600-million fight."

Yeah, it’s been a rough past couple of years. I’m glad we got Plant-Benavidez and we’re getting Tank-Ryan and Inoue-Steph but those fights should just be the norm.

Alot of this new generation of fighters believe they got to protect their undefeated records.
Which is why most dont take on risky fights IMO.
It's half their faults and half is on us fans who call fighters bums after getting an L in a tough fight.

Boxing gets on my nerves. Nobody in boxing is powerful enough to get boxers to fight, boxers call the shots and if theyre demands arent met they dont fight.
Boxers dont fight as much as the olden days, plus they cherrypick also. Youd think if you are only fighting a quarter of the amount they fought in the past youd need to fight more tough opponents to make up for it.
Like FLoyd needed to fight THurman, Brook and Spence but didnt. Fury needs to stop messing around and fight Usyk, Josh, Joyce. Its hard but fury only fought 30 odd times. THat applies to Usyk also.

I don't find myself watching Boxing all that often these days, it's had it's down times and it's great times but never have I had this little interest.

I watch the UFC a lot more these days and I'm not even a fan that stuff really. But I am a fan of the fact that's there's always good fights on.
My sentiments exactly, Dan. Boxing needs a real hero, someone who gets the attention of the man on the street. Whenever hardcore fans are losing interest, can the end be far off?

I understand TS' frustration but my suggestion (to anyone) is to fall back in love with the sport. And to do this you can't focus on the Pros. Go check out a local USABoxing event. You really respect the sport and fighters again when you see two 8yo's trying to knock each others heads off in front of a screaming crowd.

This year has started off extremely well but it will be sour if we get none of those fights.

Yeah, while I haven't lost my love for it, as it's still the greatest sport in the world in my opinion. I just don't put as much time into it as I used to. With the garbage politics, fighters not fighting the best, horrible promoters and sanctioning bodies, it just starts to become a chore following a sport that doesn't really give anything to the fans in terms of fights we can enjoy or want to see. I don't even come on here and talk boxing much anymore, I usually just talk to my boys about it. I did buy and enjoy the Benavidez vs Plant fight though
