Shakur Stevenson's patience will undoubtedly be tested. After slicing through his overmatched foes at 130 pounds, Stevenson was forcibly kicked off his championship throne.

Ironic that a Japanese contender, Shuichiro Yoshino, is traveling to Newark to face another contender; and an American Champion, Stephen Fulton, is traveling to Japan to fight a contender!

Whenever they fight, I'm putting my money on Shakur. He's much better defensively and more diverse on offense, though Haney is a very good boxer as well. Stevenson just shows a more versatile approach to his punch selections and doesn't clinch half as much. He has more ways of controlling the distance than the jab, and he doesn't mind fighting inside without losing his defensive confidence.

        Is that irony?

Maybe I am looking into it too much, which I do about most things way too often, but it seems like people seem to think that it's a foregone conclusion that Haney beats Lomachenko. And, that very well could be the case, but regardless of Haney's size, youth and skills, he still has to fight the fight, and despite of Loma's recent performance , he's still going to give Haney a tough fight...

Fight depends on Haney, who will complete his contract with TR after the Loma fight. He's free to go and fight anywhere he wants to. I think he will go back to Eddie Hearn who will provide him a showcase fight.

I hope that So-sure over looks Yoshino going into the fight. Yoshino will be a problem for him before he realizes it. That fight should be nice, the guy goes rounds he fought Nak he fought Ito these are all fights that makes him a problem for so-sure in his up coming fight. Think of Haney think of Lomo look at your up coming fight as a formality that's the way to do it.
