You did. Eventually. But only when Caleb gassed after 6 rounds. Before then you were getting clowned and outclassed. Looked horribly basic and plodding.

You didn't have a better jab in any way. In fact, your straight shots are painfully underdeveloped. You really should work on that. Your jab didn't do anything as you couldn't land it. Caleb landed plenty of jabs.

As for cutting off the ring. Yeah, you can't do that very well either. It was only after Caleb predictably gassed out as he's a 6 round fighter that you did anything. It was his lack of capabilities in that area that allowed you to take advantage. If he didn't have stamina issues which is the worst in world boxing besides Deontay Wilder, that domination would have continued and you would have been clearly defeated.

You should check the punch stats in the first 6 rounds. David landed more punches than Plant and was more accurate. It just looked deceptive because he was chasing so much missed a few lunging punches. Overall David was patient and clinical in the first time, bidding his time.

I never look at punch stats on biased platforms. They use it to manipulate people to justify their corruption. My eyes see what is going on in there. David didn't come close to landing even 20% of what Plant did in the first half of the fight. I had it 5-1 in rounds for Plant.

David tried to catch Plant in the first half but just didn't have the timing or the speed to do so. All he could do is wait until Plant gassed as usual and get him then. But that first half he was getting outclassed.

Oh ok so the facts are biased and corrupt because you disagree with them. Must be a convenient way to live life. You should get better glasses, because you missed David landing some nice counters and shots in those rounds. Fools acting like it was Floyd vs Canelo.

Wait, you think those punch stats are facts? We can go over those rounds and check if they're correct or not if you like? I know for a fact they're not if what you're saying is true with David out-landing Plant. He didn't. He didn't come close to either. I'm happy to prove it. Just give me the word and we'll go over it.

Rewatch the fight and come back to me. I thought Plant dominated the first 6 rounds when I first watched but it didn't happen like that.

So styles make fights. Yep. Benavidez is a pressure fighter. Plant is a runner. And I think we can all agree that if Bayless had warned Plant for the ridiculous amount of holding, Benavidez knocks him out.

Benavidez does this to basically everyone. He will do it to Canelo. He doesn't need fancy feet or flashiness. He cuts off the ring and bludgeons guys. Which is why he is fun to watch. Plant is a great athlete, but he isn't an elite fighter . There are very few Floyd's, who can run and still be exciting because of the skill level.

Bena showed plant there's levels in boxing. And Bena and plant aren't on the same level. One boxer backed up his ish talking and the other one didn't. Glad this beef was finally squashed and Bena proved he can beat the crap out of plant and make it look easy

No one gonna blame Plant's coach? The usual Breadman "clinch" when the other fighter gets close tactic failed.
