I don't understand why some people don't want Benavidez to demand what he has earned. Even before this fight, he has been Cinnabon's mandatory for the past two fights and had to watch Ginger choose to fight who he pleases to with no repercussions from the sanctioning bodies. Canelo is the undisputed champion of the division, so as the WBC interim champion, that is exactly the fight he has earned and should be asking for. Its not crying for the fight, its demanding the opportunity to be the champion and face the best.

Canelo has a better chance against Benavidez because of his punch. Plant's punches don't do as much damage as Canelo's. Plant fought hard but Benavidez did a lot of damage. Great fight from both!

Benavidez is WBC mandatory. Canelo has all the belts. So Canelo will have to fight him. I donīt know which part you don`t understand.

I don`t know why should now Benavidez fight all guys you mentioned. Charlo has been inactive for almost 2 years now. Bivol doesn`t exist at 168.

I'm with you, Canelo should fight Benevidez next because as you say he is his mandatory. Seems to me though that "mandatory doesn't really mean that much as sometimes it is enforced and sometimes it isn't. It seems as if it isn't mandatory to for "mandatory" to really mean mandatory.
