I have no interest in Canelo vs Bivol 2. Canelo vs Benavidez has to happen next.

Here's hoping Benevidez doesn't strictly hitch his wagon to Canelo. I'd be far more interested in Benevidez cutting off any perceived escape route for Saul given the big challenge awaiting him at 175 with Beterbiev. Benevidez would do well to go that route. He's 12 years younger than Artur AND is sort of forces the upward-slanted Canelo into another challenge, Alvarez should he prevail with Bivol. If I were a betting man, Canelo probably opts for Badou Jack about a year from now, win or lose with Bivol.

Canelo vs Benavidez aint happening I don’t think. Due to the conflicting networks. If Benavidez was willing to go to Canelo, the fight would happen very quickly.

His promotor was saying that he's gonna fight morrell if he can't get Canelo next, then he'd b Mando for wba & WBC if he wins. I think that's probably the smartest move. Either that or shishkin for the ibf Mando spot. They're both PBC so that could possibly happen. Like u said, cut off canelos escape routes.

I'm curious to see who the hardcore Canelo fans that excuse even his inexcusable decisions will defend this. They ran around saying Yildrim and Ryder were are his mandatories (even thought Ryder was never ordered by the WBO)....so now that Benavidez is his mandatory shoulnd't Canelo face him too? Or will the revert back to the "but his resume" angle?

Canelo isn't a natural 175 lber, so can't really hold that L against him.
