How do you see Canelo-Benavidez going?

I think most of us would agree this is now the one fight to make at 168.

I think Canelo boxes his ears off early, Benavidez is a bit of a plodder and seems to always start slow. However after 6/7 rounds I expect Benavidez to get going and Canelo to slow down, I think that’ll be a very tough last few rounds for Canelo as his gas tank isn’t the best and Benavidez comes on strong in the later rounds.

I’m gonna say Canelo hangs on and gets a close and maybe controversial decision.

Canelo is a bigger plodder than David, with no cardio. I still think David stops him. Canelo's next fight at 168 MUST be Benavidez, who thinks he fights him? Even after David looked human vs Plant.

Benavidez puts it on Canelo worse than GGG did in their first two fights. Bigger, stronger than Golovkin, he'll light up Canelo with combinations when GGG was effective with just a jab.

Canelo's low punch output and gas tank won't withstand the pressure. I can see him getting stopped especially because we all know he has the judges favour, David will press for the KO.

You were super confident he’d stop Plant too.

He ain’t stopping Canelo man, he possibly beats him on points.

Very much what I'm seeing. Canelo early, Benavidez late. Close fight. Canelo gets the nod.

Nowhere near as technically skilled as Golovkin though, GGG won a lot of rounds with his jab.

Benavidez will be walking Canelo down, it’s a different type of pressure.

Maybe it’ll be more effective but I’m not so sure.

Definitely feels like it’ll be a fight of two halves.

That's because he had better competition than usual i wasn't impressed with David at all and i see Canelo stopping him late his defence is very meh and he's predictable his stamina/work rate is the only thing saving him i think Canelo will counter his ass all night.
