I favor Canelo in this one but David will pour it on him in those later rounds when Alvarez tires.

Canelo is iron chinned. So if he gets stopped it's likely by body shots or sheer volume. Referee stoppage

Don't think he does. Canelo is more accurate and a heavier puncher than Plant, but his output is still incredibly low. Caleb threw almost the exact amount of punches against Bena, that Canelo threw in the Golovkin rematch (624 to 623). Didn't expect to see Plant throw more than Bena. But yeah, while Plant doesn't have the best stamina either, he matched Canelo's highest output in over 10 years. Benavidez won't have to worry as much about Canelo doing that and won't have the trouble of trying to track him down and deal with holding. Obviously Canelo is better than Plant and like I said hits harder, but you still have to throw enough and Canelo has shown he can't do that anymore. Still don't think Bena stops him and you'd still have to favor Canelo but it's not a walk in the park for him. The Canelo from 2019-2020 isn't here anymore and I think people are viewing this fight with that Canelo in mind and not the current one. The main thing Benavidez needs is a strong, educated jab and unfortunately I don't think he has that.

Plant was a B- fighter out on his feet for 6 rounds and bumavidez couldnt put him away

canelo is on the downslide. bivol we could write off as him being too big, to fast ect but then he looked terrible vs GGG and is now fighting that bum ryder, why does he need a tuneup after GGG, a 40 year old GGG WAS THE TUNE UP.

as for bumavidez i think it depends on how well he can take canelo's shots because hes there to be hit, hes got no defense at all. If he can take them and come on late then he can make it close. if he cant take them then he gets knocked out or fights a timid fight to survive type fight.

I don't think people want to believe Canelo is on the slide but it's appeared that he is for however long. Yeah it depends on if David can take his shots. I think he can because Canelo won't be able to consistently tee off on him because he has to conserve his energy. He could also catch him with a single big shot but I don't see Benavidez as the type to capitulate that easy, so it'll take a bit for Canelo to get him out of there. But I definitely don't see this as an easy fight for either.

Canelo`s biggest problem is poor stamina. If he starts gassing out , than Benavidez actually can stop him.

The thing is that Canelo generally fades down the stretch of fights in the later rounds. Benavdidez is at his best then. Would be interesting to see if Canelo can build up a big enough lead before that. Benavdidez still doesn't cut the ring off and just follows you.

Lol keep seeing that canelo fades, he came on pretty strong in first two GGG fights, knocked out plant and BjS in second parts of fights

also do most people think canelo not have offense himself?

like he kept GGG at bay

wanna see how this fight turns out though

Canelo is going to start that fight with a 5 round lead. So Benavidez is going to need a ko to receive a draw
