Canelo fans are really gonna go with the "Canelo is better because he stopped Plant" thing?

You must really love the fact Haney is fighting Loma.
No, Canelo like Loma is too OLD now, but I would say if this was 3 years ago. He would dispatch of Benny.
I think a far better challenge for Benividas is fighting Beterbiev, Smith, Yarde & Bivol. I want to see him fight those 4. Now thats interesting.

Who these guys fight to actually be entitled to a shot ?
Benavidez won the belt twice and you're saying he doesn't deserve to fight for it again. You disappoint me, Mula.

Can’t make for a successful career , that for sure
He seemed to have pretty good energy later in the fight, while Plant was dying in there.

Just would want him to fight another meaningful fight before getting in there with Canelo
Tell you what though , if this gets Bivol to unify , I’m all for it
          How’s that for redemption

Maybe he did but that’s abusing the body
Think about it , if Plant had more power , red flag ( no pun intended ) would be in serious trouble

Of course but simply for the discussion. That's how I see it.

              He's better for those reasons.

Benavidez could definitely make a legend for himself. He certainly has it about him, I have to admit. He has the certain brazen qualities and the current landscape of boxing around his immediate weight class, there are no elite level boxers. (boxers in the sense of Andre Ward styles)

Canelo is the closest thing to one and he's a plodder at the end of the day. Might be too stationary to get the best of Benavidez, I must admit, though I still favor Canelo in a fantasy fight.

I'd tune in for those fights as well.

Yup, cause Benividas never landed one clean shot on Plant. LOL. He only could land 400 LOL.

Bivol's a LHW. I know he's hinted at it, but honestly, why would he come down to SMW?

I don't know that more power would have been enough for Plant to win. His stamina is in serious question. If he had more power, he may have tried to stand more toe-to-toe with Benavidez, which is what David is used to doing. The Mexican Monster didn't shine so well in the first half of the fight because of Plan'ts movement. An emboldened Caleb would have been easier to hit and may have gassed even sooner, especially if he were caught with big shots to the body.
