Bayless is the handpicked Haymon/PBC ref to neutralize heavy handed fighters when their guy wants to clinch.

I have never seen a ref stop the fight because one fighter had a cut to let their corner work on them. WTF was that??

Yea, but how many of us were present during those conversations. In the huddle during the timeout?........ It's all just speculation based on our vantage point. Jose Benavidez Sr. hasn't address the ref's "bias" actions and we all know he's not one to hold his tongue regarding something he doesn't approve of.

Again, I'm not saying there isn't at least "some" truth to it....but I'm not going to push that notion like it's factual because honestly I don't know.....But I said repeatedly not only in this fight, but others that Kenny Bayless is a ref I hate to see at work at times.

No working out of the clinches
Imo , takes much out of the fight

Hatton was a dirty fighter though. Have another look at the Tszyu fight, 40+ fouls. Holding and hitting, hitting behind the head, elbows, forearms, you name it. Entire career of fighting dirty.

Benavidez is on nobody's radar for fighting dirty.
