They really thought they were going to get away with robbing benavidez until he spoiled their plans, that's when bayless was instructed to stop halting the action and let benavidez fight out of the clinch since even with everything stacked against David, he was still undeniably whooping plant. Might as well let benavidez look good because plant can't even maintain it close enough to rob benavidez.

Sounds good, but far from factual unless you have some sort of evidence to point to that shows that Kenny was summoned and/or spoken to before or during the fight, given instruction on how he should ref and what to allow so that Plant can have an edge.
