Usyk wins by TKO, with Dubois forced to quit with both eyes swelling shut.

In this stage of his career, I don't think Usyk should be fighting a glorified tune-up and I imagine he agrees. I don't see this fight getting signed.

I'm sure it will. I think Warren prefer dubois to fight usyk than fury to

Levels to this, and Usyk is on a considerably higher level.

It doesn't matter that he's not as big as a lot of these other heavyweights. He uses skill, good movement and has some power.

Usyk’s belts are the one thing keeping him in contention for a future Fury fight. If he drops those then no undisputed, and this is a mandatory.

It’s either Fury or Dubois and Fury isn’t happening next.

If a fighter has fought their way into a mandatory position 'Then fights have to happen'.

To all the people complaining, your views on the objection to this potential fight are irrelevant.

If Dubois is a mandatory challenger, then he has worked his way to this title fight 'On Merritt'.

Fights have to happen in order to find out the absolute objective truth.

'Just because Usyk is currently on merit a higher level fighter than Dubois, that does not mean that fight is not warranted'.

This is the life of a Champion, you fight and take on all comers 'Fighters have been doing this throughout history'.

If DD's team can get him a shot, then he might as well take it.

                If he wins great.

Tbh, if I thought he was a great long-term prospect, I might think differently.

But, it is really tough to envision him getting a whole lot further.

He hasnt fought anyone since JJ and there havent been any real rumblings of him against anyone in the top 10.

This has the feel of a cash out, or hope for the best situation.

That's probably the best case scenario for Warren: Dubois getting the title without having to fight for it. Warren is in a win-win situation with this Fury/Usyk drama. Fury is allowed to make as many outrageous demands as he wants to...because Warren's fighters (Dubois and Joyce) are due title shots. If Usyk says 'to hell with Fury', then he has to face Dubois.

Regardless of the outcome of the fight, Dubious can fight on.

Dubois is a mandatory challenger, he has worked his way to this fight on merit.

This is boxing mate, it has always operated this way. Not every fighter has to be a elite long term prospect to warrant a title fight.

I really don't understand people's issue with this fight 'Champions have to fight their mandatory challengers'.

I’m not clear on why Joe Joyce isn’t next in line for a championship fight.
