He was asked the question and he answered, he wasn't going around telling the people, but Floyd did all the time, and it came true. If he's reached this level of popularity and ability to draw without being a champion, just imagine when he faces the champion or anyone that everyone wants him to fight. At 28, I can't name a current fighter, besides Cinnabon, that has reached this level of stardom. The truth is what it is, people may not like it, but that sells too.
You can't name a single fighter outside of Canelo who is a bigger star in boxing? Try AJ and Fury who are way beyond Davis and even Canelo. Outside of Mexico and the US, no one cares about Canelo. Davis much much less. Davis will never reach even 20% of AJ even at his peak. Anyone thinking otherwise needs a doctor.

The face of boxing in America is a 100 year old Mike Tyson, a dead Muhammad Ali, and to an extent a retired Floyd Mayweather.

There is no face of boxing in America because it's a 2hd tier sport now.

And no, fighting Ruiz wouldn't make it up to us. He fights Usyk or he takes a walk. The only other fighters he needs is AJ and Joyce when they're ready to go. No other fights matter.
Well, since Ruiz beat the f-k out of AJ, I want to see Fury vs. Ruiz! Why can't Fury fight in the U.S. anymore?

Also AJ and Fury aren't 28. And if the UK doesn't pay attention to Cinnabon they could have fooled me, because its seems all that he's been doing is beating up on British fighters for the past few years. It seems he has an acquired taste for Euro-boxers, his favorite delicacy.

I have watched his documentary series Strap Season and other clips on him outside the ring. When he's around the people he's close to and feels comfortable, he doesn't speak like that. But, he's a naturally shy person that's soft spoken, so that's how it comes off in press conferences and interviews. Cinnabon was the same way until he grew more comfortable and confident speaking in front of crowds.

Pretty much all Americans and Mexicans are already sabotaging opponents before they go there. The rest of the world though still have real fighters. No real fighter or real fan aspire to that. None.
Cinnabon and Mauricio Lara have new dinner sets and are feasting on British boxers, and Lara doesn't bring them to him, he goes to their home and feasts.

Good for you - you got enthusiasum for a fighter, that is what keeps boxing alive. How you look towards or rather how you see G.Davis past fights and his words are a lot dif then mine. That is how boxing keeps people watching. I see a lot of manufactured hype and atttention given to G.Davis a fighter who has not earned yet in the ring. No use hammering it out with words. Let him show himself for a talented fighter, a fighter that takes chances in the ring not looks towards numbers and dollars all the time then he will become something. But he is not there yet far from it. Enjoy the fights.
