Well it's not that. Vitali is obviously very skilled and the best heavyweight. The problem in calling any HW p4p is that they very often fight opponents 30 pounds lighter. It's not fair for the likes of Pacquiao who have to make weight and match each pound of their bodies to the equivalent pound of their opponents. Otherwise I see no problem with that. Skillwise he's top 3 or top 5 definitely. The HW can't all be bums so obvious there are details in Vitali's skills which are subtle and so some people can't easily see.

Oh wait so size didn't play a factor in tonight's fight? You fucking idiot. The size difference was far greater tonight than in any of Mayweather's fights. Maybe you should rewatch the Lennox Lewis fight and convince yourself Vitali won, or watch Wlad fight chagaev or something along those lines.

Pound for Pound should make size almost irrelevant and it's Vitali's huge frame that gives him the advantage.

If he was 6 foot 2 for example, could he do well as Holyfield did?

He's a great fighter, but as a boxer, there's plenty to improve on. His methods have caused the break down of his body. That's why Wlad has only pulled uot of 1 fight while Vitali has lost due to injuries.

Definitely not #1 pound for pound.
