I don't know about that, Canelo is more experienced and has been in with Golovkin and Bivol.

Benavidez' style may just suit Canelo well. And it's not just bombs coming from David, it's also power from Canelo.

But David is an exciting all action fighter. Let's see how he does against Plant, who's a very good test.

It’s always easy to tell which fighters Reynoso and Canelo feel are bad stylistic match ups based on their easily exposed hypocrisy. When they start trying to run down who a fighter has faced, call a guy a horrible fighter, etc, all the while facing guys who have similar or worse resumes and guys who are stylistically limited, you know where their heads or at. Benavidez is a terrible match up for Canelo based on his size, strength, youth, pressure and stamina. The Canelo that we’ve seen over his last 2 fights won’t see the final bell against Benavidez.

So if Benavidez Sr. was Reynoso he wouldn't let Canelo fight Benavidez Jr.? Well then what does that say about Benavidez Sr's. mind set?
It show's that there is a great lack of confidence in this boxing trainer's thought's, and if that's the case then why are you anyone's boxing trainer?
It appear's more of a ploy to try to punk Canelo into taking the fight against his son, a tactic that he doesn't need to employ.
Because if Benavidez Jr, defeat's Plant on March 25, 2023, the fans will be clamoring for this fight to happen, and Canelo wouldn't be able to avoid fighting him much longer.

Lets see how he looks against Plant first i have always thought Benavidez is overhyped but that's because he hasn't really fought anybody Saturday is his time to show us doubters wrong.

Anyone here think Benividas could whip Bivol? I dont. I dont even think Benividas’s dad thinks he could but I admire Canelo choosing to fight Bivol again. He wont win. Benividas is a FAR EASIER FIGHT.
I dont think Beinividas can whip Beterbiev, Smith nor Yarde either
