I think he was talking about people having enough power to finish Castillo not Corrales. But in any event, like the man said: speed hurts Corrales more then power and Floyd certainly is faster then Castillo (maybe stronger too!)
Corrales hasnt fought anyone in ages, hes obviously been away from the gym and at krispy kream he looked chubby on FNF.
Corrales only advantage is he might have more power over castillo thats it.
Castillo has experience, work rate, and so far against common opponents, chin.
People think that Chico's chin is weak but I disagree. Power doesnt hurt Chico, speed does. Floyd and Joel's speed is what dropped him. He gets caught off guard and off balance. Thats why Frietas couldnt drop him even though he has more power then Floyd and Joel. I think that Castillo has a questionable chin. I saw him stunned against Floyd, Joel, Lazcano, and Diaz but none have enough power to do anything with it. Chico will hurt him badly and everyone will be shocked
Speed hurts Castillo as well, but obviously not as much as it hurts Corrales.Chico has been KD about 10times against both Casamayor and PBF combined, and Castillo has been KD zero times against those same two fighters. That said,I think Chicos chin is iffy and obviously not as good as Castillos.
I think Castillo's experience against rangier fighters like Lazcano and Bazan will play a big factor in this fight.
The only thing you say there that I take any real disagreement with is that he has not fought in ages. August is not all THAT long ago- I mean, would I like him to be more active? Sure. Will this completely shut the door on him winning the fight? Hell no. Also, as for more power maybe-- ask Casamayor (who had to climb off the canvas against Chico) who hits harder...

Of course that doesnt mean he has zero chance of winning the fight, however it is a disadvantage. Castillo has been fighting name guys and has been winning. He is keeping in shape and is in the gym.
meanwhile Corrales has been hitting the donuts hard it seems. Only making his preparation for castillo tougher and might have to cut corners or focus more on loosing the weight then the actual preparation of a fight plan.
Aight, it is off to bed for the evening for this guy-- but I leave these parting words you naysayers! This guy called Chico beating Casamayor in the rematch and KO'ing Freitas in that fight (although my pick was in six... oops)-- Diego just likes living up to my expectations!
Corrales must have felt confident after seeing how close Castillo-Casamayor turned out. Now,I wonder if that all changed after seeing Castillo breakdown and KO a top5 Lightweight in Julio Diaz on TV,not too mention seeing Floyd Mayweather Jr smile for the Camaras in the front row, lol.
if chico stays behind the jab and boxes at a distance, he will win, if he goes toe to toe he'll get stopped late. castillo can be outboxed from distance but if you stand infront of him you'll get worn down. chico is the puncher in this fight but his chin is weaker than castillo's, so it's in his interest not to mix it with castillo. good match up, should be a good fight.
