Comments Thread For: Arum: I Don't Know What Teofimo Has Anymore; And I Don't Know What Taylor Has Anymore

Bob Arum admits that he isn't quite sure what to make of one of the highest-profile fights on his promotional company's calendar. The 91-year-old founder of Top Rank Inc. is convinced fans will respond both by buying tickets for their June 10

Good fight on paper. Teo has not looked the same and Taylor has had a long layoff. All the other stuff outside this fight has taken some luster out of it.

Haha, Arum is a savage. Teo and his Dad been sucking Bob off lately, now Bob is dropping hammers on their name, this should escalate nicely.

Weirdly, it’s somewhat of a crossroads fight.

I do believe Arum secretly thinks Taylor is ripe for the picking though and sees this fight as the perfect launch pad to get Teofimo back to where he was after beating Loma.

Not the ideal thing to say strictly from a pure promotional aspect but, I appreciate the honesty from the Ancient One Bob Arum.

Seems He lies alot less than he did during his pacquiao days.

I have to think Taylor wins this if he can get back to form.

              Teofimo has looked awful lately.

Both guys are coming of disappointing performances, but they both faced a complicated style that troubled them. This fight tho, their style matches up perfectly!! I expect fireworks and potentially FOY candidate.

To think in July 2021 if you'd have been told Taylor-Lopez was taking place at 140 you'd have thought the hype would be off the charts for an undisputed matchup or something. Now it seems (almost) an afterthought. Will all depend on how comfortable Taylor remains at 140. The whole Catterall camp/fight just seemed an absolute disaster what with the injuries, allegedly ballooning in weight, and just overall seeming complacent.

15 months out of the ring for Taylor. I know he had an injury but that's a killer.

Especially coming off being outclassed by Jack Catterall. It wasn't just a loss - he looked like the inferior boxer for nearly all of it.

                    Then injured trying to rematch.
